I had a miscarriage....?

and I actually ped the fetus in my OBGYN office. They took it in a speciman cup (to do testing, I guess). I never asked any questions after that. Well, now were ready to try again and I'm just wondering if I can call the office and if they can tell me why I had the first miscarriage? Can they test the unborn fetus and find out why my body expelled it? I just don't want to call and feel stupid by my doctors office. They are not very personable...Thanks!
