Grandmother ping, Canada/U.S., will rights?
My grandmother, who was legal Canadian resident of U.K. birth died last month. My grandfather who was a also a legal resident of Canda has been deceased for years now. They did live in the U.S.A. for many years as my Grandfather was a professor at Oregon State University. I was directly told by them I am in the will, they were quite well off. They had made my Uncle power/excutor of the will. My family does not talk much, so I havent spoke to him in sometime. I wrote him and called him and left a message three times now, to either see the will, or be told if I am in truely in the will, which I dont know why grandparents would lie to me. What is the legality of his responibily to give me copies of the wills (they had a joint will, executable apoun death of both members), what is his time limit to execute this? What are my rights under the umption I am named in the will? Thanks
