Men: Do you like frilly, lacey underwear or plain old sports bras on women?

I went underwear shopping with my hubby today and boy you think you know someone! All these years I have been buying the lacey 'y' stuff if planning a special night and now I find out that he doesn't find it attractive! I pointed out the 'old granny' undies and he told me he prefers it, I thought he was joking but he is completely serious. Wow! Are any of you attracted to the simple, wireless, white, drab, sagger-producing underwear available?? He said he finds lace and colours and ribbon too confusing and a distraction, he is turned on by plain colours only, he even told my he didnt like my top because it has sequins around the decolletage. I think its weird, what are your preferences?
