If I lose my only set of car keys, (10 points!)?

It shouldn't matter if you bought it through auction of through a Diamler Chrysler dealer. They either will or won't have a key made for it. Some vehicles only had so many keys made for them and therefore you could order them all ( possibly expensive) and try them until you find the right one if that were to be the case for the Jeep Cherokee.Try the dealership first cause it's free and then call the locksmith. Only had this happen once with a Ford Aerostar van that we lost the second key for and then we lost the first set. Drilled out the key switch and started it with a screwdriver until we got rid of that piece of crap. They said that they couldn't help us when we asked them. Not bad service or nothing just didn't know what to do. If their locked in your vehicle just call a locksmith. When you get new keys be sure to get lots of them. They cost a few bucks to get them copied and can save you from going through this agian.
