Text for extremely dull astrophysics lecture?

I'm writing a screenplay. In one short scene, a girl is sitting in an extremely tedious, boring astrophysics lecture. I need just 2-3 sentences, something that deals in boring minutia. Can you suggest anything? Also, what would the slide presentation look like?
